Come explore a breath-centric asana practice in which breath is primary and movement is secondary. We will make use of a variety of pranayama practices as we move through a sequence of postures performed in familiar and unfamiliar ways. This practice is designed to deepen your experience of the breath as a direct link to the central nervous system, the initiator of movement in the body, and as an important mobilizer of the trunk and spine. You will enjoy a deeply inward practice as you develop a new appreciation of the breath, its role in movement, and its power in your practice. All levels are welcome, though prior experience with asana practice will be helpful.
