Elevate yourself and your yoga practice by fully immersing your five senses in the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience hiking through our ancient mountains to meditate beside a 300-foot waterfall followed by a relaxing 60-90 minute yoga practice in the shade of tall forest trees.

The trail (about 3 miles roundtrip) and yoga practice are suitable for all levels including beginners. You are welcome to bring your own mat or borrow one of ours. A refreshing bit of rain won’t stop us but in the event of unsafe weather conditions like thunderstorms or lightning, this experience will be cancelled and you will be issued a full refund.

NO WAITLIST AVAILABLE

The pick-up and drop-off for all hikes is located on Market Street near the Bhakti Stage. There is a clearly marked sign at this location and it is also marked on our Festival Map. The van will LEAVE at the time the class is scheduled to start, so plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. There will be no refunds for missed excursions. If you miss the van, you are welcome to drive to the location of the class, address is Catawba Falls National Park, 3074 Catawba River Rd, Old Fort, NC 28762.

What should I wear?
Yoga pants, or any other light, comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in. Sturdy boots or shoes with ankle support are best for traversing the trails. (We do take them off during the yoga portion.) Be prepared for anything! Wearing layers is recommended and definitely pack a rain jacket or poncho as the weather and temperature can change quickly in the mountains. For sun and bug protection, you can use long sleeves and pants, a hat, sunglasses and/or sunscreen and insect repellent. What should I bring?

You are responsible for bringing and carrying everything you need during these events, preferably in a small backpack. We have yoga mats you can borrow but you are also welcome to bring your own. Bring some water to stay hydrated - preferably in a reusable bottle.
We want to have as little impact as possible on the natural beauty and we firmly believe in the principles of leave no trace.
